Welcome to the Early Years at Windmill Primary School and Nursery.

Our own school nursery works together with our two reception classes to make the early years an exciting, stimulating environment with a seamless transition from nursery into school.  We look forward to welcoming you to our Windmill family.

What's important to us...?

We believe in the uniqueness of every child and family; and we accept that parents are the first educators of their children. We aim to develop those foundations that have already been laid and, together with the support of our families, we create unique learning experiences that will develop the whole child through play, discussion, investigation and exploration. We do this by noticing and working with children’s interests, creating lively, playful, meaningful learning experiences. The outcome is independent and thoughtful learners who have a strong desire to never give up and always try their best.

We look forward to working, playing and growing with you.
