Dinners

For the most up to date information about school dinners, please go to the Telford & Wrekin School Meals website, which gives information about:

  • Free School Meals, including free meals for all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
    • Free School Meals are available for children whose parent(s) satisfy certain criteria in respect of their income or benefits. Further information can be found here: Free_School_Meals_flyer_PROOF

    • Since September 2014, all children in reception, Year 1 and Year 2 in state-funded schools in England have been eligible for a cooked school lunch at no cost to the parent.  Please view more information about UIFSM: UIFSM_Free_School_Meals_advert_VADO

  • What's on the Windmill Dinner Menu

Our school meals include a range of freshly prepared and seasonal recipes, making them a great healthy option for children. Why not give them a try this term?

Making a small change to your everyday food and drinks can save a surprising amount of fat, sugar and calories. All of our menus have the option of a low-fat organic fruit yoghurt, cheese and biscuits or fresh fruit for pudding.

Sandwiches and Packed Lunches

Pupils also have the option for a school-made sandwich - please use the School lunch order form (to be completed and handed to the class teacher each Monday)
Of course, children can also bring their own packed lunch if you prefer.  Please make this a healthy balance of foods and use the links below to help you. No fizzy drinks please. Hot food is not permitted in children's packed lunches.
